Multipaz + Open Mobile Hub

Together advancing Cross-Platform Interoperability for Digital Identity

Multipaz originated at Google and is now part of the OpenWallet Foundation. It provides fully open-source Kotlin Multiplatform SDKs for Android and iOS and supports modern digital identity standards: mDL (ISO/IEC 18013-5), OpenID4VCI. Multipaz is used by the Google Wallet and EU Digital Identity Wallet.

In this collaboration, Open Mobile Hub contributes by building a developer program to promote mobile service interoperability. Current joint efforts include Codelabs, Documentation, Core library contributions and joint events such as panels, hackathons, and more.

Microsoft + Open Mobile Hub

Jointly working on solving IAP

Microsoft and Open Mobile Hub has started to work together to solve fragmentation related to in-app purchases (IAP). The expected result of this collaboration is to deliver another Open Mobile Hub module, in addition to existing modules that provide developer choice for Maps, Storage, and Auth.

Governance

  1. The Open Mobile Hub project is governed by the Technical Steering Committee (TSC), who are responsible for technical oversight of the project as laid out in the charter.
  2. Current members of the TSC can be found in the openmobilehub/governance section on Github. The TSC meets in public, and meetings are announced with an issue on the repository. All meeting minutes are published there.
  3. The TSC can form subcommittees for detailed discussion of issues. Currently there are no active subcommittees.
  4. Open Mobile Hub is a Linux Foundation Project.
